The big day is tomorrow, and since my last post on Valentine’s Day was such a hit, I decided to target this one toward all you smitten lovebirds who have someone to spend it with.  

Now fellas– before you run out to get her flowers and take her to a fancy dinner, take a look at these stats: they might surprise you. Turns out, your guess for what she really wants tomorrow might be a little off.

Something to definitely think about (minus the chocolate part…c’mon, what women would say no to chocolate?). 

What should you do for Valentine’s Day? Most likely, your significant other will like something romantic, but original at the same time. It’s okay to stray away from tradition! Flowers, movie-dates, and overly-priced dinner were so yesterday, so it’s time to get creative.

So, cancel those dinner reservations at that expensive restaurant in downtown SLO and check out this DIY date instead.

Ahhh, the beautiful outdoors. What a great way to spend Valentine’s Day, especially in beautiful San Luis Obispo. Why this beats a movie or dinner: 

  • No fancy attire needed. Leave your heels at home, and just wear some comfy running shoes instead.

  • You’ll have the whole beach to yourself. 

  • You can work off all that Valentine’s Day chocolate.

  • It’s completely free and really close to SLO.

Directions listed here. There is a cul-de-sac at the end of Inyo Street. Park there and the entrance is right at the end of that street.
